Question: How do I post my pet’s picture?
Answer: Once you login, click on the "My Looney Pets profile" in the upper right hand corner. This will bring up your pet's profile. There is a link in the "photo gallery" to "add photos". Click on this and it will lead to a page where you hit browse to bring up the photo you like and then hit upload.
Question: How do I add another pet?
Answer: Once you login, click on the "My Looney Pets profile" in the upper right hand corner. This will bring up your pet's profile. There is a link in the "My family" to "add Family Member". Click on this link and it will bring you to a new profile page.
Question: I just posted my profile and I don’t see it on the site, why?
Answer: We have an approval process set up for the first time you post a profile. This is to make sure the information posted is legitimate and family friendly. You should see your profile on the site within 24 hours unless we detect a problem. You will receive an email once your profile has been approved.
Question: How do I get back to the home page?
Answer: Simply click on the “Looney Pets” logo and you will be redirected to the home page.
Question: How do I delete a pet?
Answer: Click on "My Looney Pets Profile" in the upper right hand corner. Then chose which profile it is you would like to delete. At the bottom of the profile is two links "Edit pet info" and "delete this pet". Just click on "delete this pet".
Question: How do I post a comment?
Answer: As long as you are logged in you can post a comment. Just click on the pet’s profile you would like to leave a comment for. In the comment section, at the bottom click on “add comment”. This will give you a screen to choose which pet you would like to leave the comment, if you have multiple pets, then add you comment and submit.
Question: How do I search for a friend’s pet?
Answer: First you need to click on “pet’s profiles”. You will see the search box. You have two options a simple with using a keyword or the pet’s name or you can do a more advanced search. Click on “Advanced Search” enter as much information as you have, keyword, pet’s name, city, or type of pet. Then hit search and you will be directed to the profile you are looking for.
Question: How do I send messages to another pet and then how do I retrieve messages?
Answer: To send a message you must be logged in, and simply click on "send message" in the Control Panel of the pet you wish to send the message to. To retrieve a message, when you login to your profile, click on "Inbox" in the Control Panel. If you wish to not receive messages from a user click on "Block User" when they send you a message.
Question: How do I delete a friend I accidentally added twice?
Answer: Click in the upper right hand corner of the home page on "My Looney Pets Profile" then look in the friends section. You should see a link to "Edit Friends". Click on this and select the box under one of Hudson's pictures then hit "Delete Selected" in the bottom left.
